A Great Big World Biography
A Great Big World is an American musical duo made of singer and songwriters Ian Axel and Chad King. They are known for their singles This Is the New Year which have been performed in Glee and their International hit Say Something a duet with Christina Aguilera.
A Great Big World Career
Ian and Chad met university particularly New York University and were both attending the Steinhardt Music Program. Both of them were music business students. Ian came to convince Chad to write a song with him. They wrote songs and performed together until Ian embarked on a solo career. 2011 their song This Is the New Year used in the Tv series MTV’s I used to be Fat as the theme song and other tv shows. They rebranded themselves as A Great World in 2012. 2013 they were picked as Elvis Duran`s` Artist of the month. Their song with Christina Aguilera Say Something was a mega-hit Christina heard the songs first version and was quite impressed and desired.
