Blythe Danner Biography
Blythe Danner an American actress, She born on 3rd February, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to her parents Katharine and Harry Earl Danner.
Earl Danner got enrolled at George School, a Quaker high school near based in Newtown, Bucks County Pennsylvania in 1960. She graduate from Bard College.
Her first role in 1967 included Mata Hari the “closed out of town”, and as well the 1968 Off-Broadway production of Summertree. Her early Broadway appearances included Cyrano de Bergerac in 1968 and her Theatre World Award-winning performance in The Miser in1969. She became the first in the Tony Award for as the best Featured Actress in the Play for portraying a free-spirited divorcée in Butterflies Are Free in the years 196 to 1972.
Danner is widely known for her roles as Martha Jefferson in the film of 1776 , and as Dina Byrnes in Meet the Parents of 2000 and its sequels Meet the Fockers of 2004 and Little Fockers of2010. She is as well featured in the films The Great Santini of 1979, Mr. and Mrs. Bridge of 1990, The Prince of Tides of 1991, Husbands and Wives of 1992, and I’ll See You in My Dreams of 2015.
She recieved the awarde of an inaugural Katharine Hepburn Medal by Bryn Mawr College’s Katharine Houghton Hepburn CenterIn 2006. In 2015, Danner was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame.
Danner has been part of the environmental issues for over 30 years. She has also been active with INFORM, Inc., is on the Board of Environmental Advocates of New York and the Board of Directors of the Environmental Media Association, she got the EMA awards in 2002 by EMA Board of Directors Ongoing Commitment Award. In she later joined Moms Clean Air Force in 2011, so as to help call on parents to join in the fight against toxic air pollution.
she also on of the pioneers of Oral Cancer Foundation, after her husbands demise due to from oral cancer. Through the Bruce Paltrow Oral Cancer Fund, administered by the Oral Cancer Foundation, she continues to creat awareness and as well funding for oral cancer issues, particularly those involving communities in which disparities in health care exist.

Blythe started off her acting career as a Broadway artist. She first performed a play in 1965. It was gain popularity ‘The Glass Menagerie’ by Tennessee Williams. Blythe made her TV debut in 1970 with the movie ‘George Mi’. she was starred in diffrent television films including ‘Dr. Cook’s Garden’, ‘F. Scott Fitzgerald’, and ‘The Last of the Belles’, ‘A Love Affair: The Eleanor’, and ‘Lou Gehrig Story’ and ‘Sidekicks’. Her first major TV show was ‘Adam’s Rib’ at thi she played Amanda Bonner in 13 episodes. She played also the major role of Lily Frishcherin the film ‘Kill a Clown’, in 1972.
She continued to do films for several consecutive years and she rose to be successful in the film industry. Her very first few films include the ‘1776’, ‘Lovin’ Molly’, ‘Hearts of the West’, and others sshe acted in ‘The Great Santini’ directed by Lewis John and written by Pat Conroy. She was cast as the female lead character, Lillian Meechum. She continued being cast giving back-to-back hit films in the 1980s. Some include ‘Man, Woman and Child’, ‘Brighten Beach Memoirs’,‘Mr. and Mrs. Bridge’, ‘Alice’, etc.

Danner also took part on the 1998 superhit American science fiction thriller, ‘The X-Files’. It is based on the television series of the same name. Julie Newmar’, ‘No Looking Back’, ‘The Love Letter’, and others.
Apart from the than Hollywood cinema, she went on appearing in television films. Between the years 1976 and 1998, she as was a part of 21 television films.
