He is known for his roles as Eric van der Woodsen on The CW’s teen drama series Gossip Girl and Declan Porter on the ABC drama series Revenge. He has also appeared in two Oliver Stone films, Alexander (2004) and World Trade Center (2006).

When the popular high school show launched ten years ago in 2007, Connor was cast as Eric van der Woodsen, the brother of socialite Serena.
The New York-bred actor, who is now 27, went on to star in 53 episodes, and had many leading storylines including Eric’s suicide attempt and him coming out as gay.
At the end of the fourth season, Eric, along with characters Jenny and Vanessa took a step back from filming, but all featured in the show’s finale, New York, I Love You XOXO.
Since leaving the show he has certainly kept himself busy with other on-screen productions and looks a far cry from his teenager character in the show.
Now sporting a beard, he updates his fans on Instagram about his latest ventures.
In 2010, he swapped the streets of New York for a vampire apocalypse film, Stake Land, which was directed by Jim Mickle.
A year later, in April 2011, he starred in ABC series Revenge, which was when he left Gossip Girl to focus on new projects.
His character was killed off in the second season’s finale in May 2013.
According to his IMDb page, last year he starred in Rush Hour as the character of Henry, and The Staklander as Martin and in Friend Request as Kobe.
