Devon Werkheiser is an American actor, singer-songwriter, voice actor and musician. As an actor, Werkheiser is known for his role portraying Ned Bigby on the Nickelodeon sitcom Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide and for his role in the 2007 Nickelodeon television movie Shredderman Rules as the lead character Nolan Byrd. In the fourth and final season of the ABC Family series Greek, Werkheiser played Peter Parkes.

Acting
Werkheiser and his mother moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. He had a main role in 2003, as Max Korda in the TV movie Recipe for Disaster. Werkheiser has landed several television and film roles since his arrival in Hollywood, the biggest of which is that of Ned Bigby on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. He lent his voice in movies such as: Casper’s Scare School the voice of as Casper the Friendly Ghost, Casper’s Shadow and Good Dragon and The Wizzard of Krudd as the voice of Gordo.
Werkheiser starred in 2007, in Nickelodeon movie based on Wendelin Van Draanen’s Shredderman book series Shredderman Rules as Nolan Byrd/Shredderman. Werkheiser played the role of Chris Marino later that year, in Lifetime original movie Christmas in Paradise. Werkheiser starred in 2009, as Victor in the movie The First Time. He potrayed the role of Victor, who has an incurable crush on hot senior Anya who is way out of his league and she doesn’t have clue he exists. Also in the movie The Prankster he had a significant role, in which he played the role of Brad Burris.
Werkheiser played the role of Danny in the 2011, horror thriller movie Beneath the Darkness. He potrayed the lead role of Cassidy Warren in 2012, in web series Never Fade Away. Werkheiser starred as Max in the horror film The Wicked in 2013. In Lifetime movie Zephyr Springs also known as Deadly Spa, he played the supporting role of Brett. He also starred as Nick Behrle in the 2014, movie California Scheming and had a role as Fitch in the movie Helicopter Mom. He starred as Andy in the short film Arthur in 2015.
Werkheiser starred as Jason in the television movie Bad Sister in 2016, which premiered on Lifetime on January 4, 2016. In the movie Werkheiser’s character is stalked by the school’s newest nun. Werkheiser is hosting DanceOn’s first competition series Dance-Off Juniors on free mobile-streaming service Go90 which will be judged by Alyson Stoner, Ladia Yates, Matt Steffanina and Todrick Hall and will premiere on April 20, 2016.
In summer 2016, he starred as Logan in the romantic comedy film Sundown directed by Fernando Librrija and co-starring Sean Marquette, Sara Paxton and Camilla Belle. The movie is based on a couple of BFFs (Sean Marquette and Devon Werkheiser) who travel to Puerto Vallarta hoping to hook up with their high school crushes.
Werkheiser guest starred in an episode of 2 Broke Girls on December 5, 2016. He played the role of Brock in 2017, in the comedy film Where’s the Money together with Andrew Bachelor and Logan Paul. In 2018, Werkheiser had a supporting role in the indie crime drama Break Night as Joey and played the role of a judge in the dance film To The Beat! together with Alyson Stoner. He played the role of Charlie in the web mini-series Rough Draft, which was released on February 11, 2019 on YouTube. Werkheiser is set to star in an upcoming movie, Santa Girl.
Music
Originally, Werkheiser signed with Universal Motown for his debut studio album, however his label status on MySpace has since changed to unsigned, a possible indication that he is no longer with Universal. Werkheiser’s album, which has been described as being a combination of rock and pop, will feature him playing the guitar and singing. He has requested that he be able to co-write the lyrics and music of all of his songs and he has been working with artists inclusive of Tim Myers, Eddie Galan, Wally Gagel and Charlie Midnight to help write his songs. Werkheiser performed live shows with female vocalists Britney Christian and Kristen Marie Hollyin and plans to go on live tours after the release of the album.
Werkheiser’s first single, a full band production of “If Eyes Could Speak”, was released on iTunes on April 1, 2010. The official music video was released on June 15, 2010 via YouTube. It stars himself and his partner, Molly McCook. His second single, “Sparks Will Fly”, was released on iTunes on July 29, 2010.
Werkheiser planned to release an extended play, which would in turn lead to an eventual release of an album. He had written over 45 songs, though he hadn’t decided which to include on an EP or album.
Werkheiser released his first EP on June 25, 2013 reffred to as I Am. He released his second EP named Here and Now on June 9, 2015. Werkheiser released a single “Stuck On the Ground” on January 3, 2016. He released another single on January 22, 2016 entittled “Fire”. Werkheiser released a stripped version of his single “Stuck on the Ground” on January 29, 2016.
