Before joining KMBC-TV and KCWE-TV, she began her career in broadcasting in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Emily worked as a reporter before moving into the evening anchor role at WSEE, which she held for nearly two years.
