Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an American actor who has starred in a number of popular television shows and films. Morgan was born in Seattle, Washington, on April 22, 1966. He attended Lake Washington High School and briefly studied basketball at Skagit Valley College. After a leg injury ended his hopes of playing professional basketball, Morgan decided to pursue a career in acting.
