Early Life

Born in Charleston which is situated in South Carolina, Kyla Kenedy is a rising star of the American cinematography. She started to work at the age of eight when she was invited to play in local commercials in her native city. She was later s seen in a short film. When she got older, it became obvious for her family that it was necessary to shift to Los Angeles as Kyla had brilliant perspectives.

In 2011, Kenedy made her Hollywood debut at the age of 8 in a TV series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The following year, she made her movie debut in The Yellow Wallpaper. The same year, Kenedy worked in the TV movie, Raising Izzie. Due to her role, she won the Young Artist Awards.

Kenedy appeared as Mika Samuels in AMC’s The Walking Dead from 2013-2015. The series starred Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Lauren Cohan. Since 2016, she is playing the role of Dylan DiMeo in ABC’s series, Speechless. Kenedy shared the screen with Micah Fowler, Minnie Driver, and John Ross Bowie.
