During his twenty-one years in with CIA, Robert worked field assignments, starting in Madras and New Delhi, India. He later went to Beirut, Lebanon; Damascus, Syria; Khartoum, Sudan; Paris, France; Dushanbe, Tajikistan; Morocco.
