Sunita Mani Biography
Sunita Mani was born in the year 1986 December 13. She is, therefore,32 years old as of 2018. Mani is an American actress, dancer, and comedian. She’s best known for playing Trenton in the USA Network television series Mr. Robot. She also commonly recognized for her gyrations in the viral music video “Turn Down for What” by DJ Snake and Lil John.
Mani attended Emerson College in Boston where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in writing, literature, and publishing. Mani started her career as a stand-up comedian while still in college. In 2008, after graduating in 2008 she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade and received training in improvisational comedy for three years. Mani was interested in dancing, and her passion led her to join the Cocoon Central Dance Team, where she worked as a dancer and choreographer.
Sunita began her career as an actress by making an appearance in Writer’s Block, an MTV web TV pilot, and also in commercials for Burger King and the clothing brand Levi’s. Her first film debut was in the movie The Unspeakable Act in 2012 where she took the role of Jessica. She appeared in other movies like 3rd Street Blackout, Stinking Heaven, Little Sister and Don’t Think Twice. Some of her famous works include the role of Trenton in the series, The Robot where she appeared in 16 episodes. Trenton is an Iranian- American Muslim hacktivist. In the series, she appeared alongside B.D Wong, Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallstrom and many more.
She was cast in the comedy series The Good Place as Chad for three episodes from 2016 till 2017. In the year 2017 Mani appeared in TV series like Search Party and No Activity. She took the role of Arthie Premkumar in the Comedy Television series, GLOW starring alongside actors like Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young among others. Mani also appeared in drama–thriller television series Mr. Robot as Trenton alongside stars Rami Maleek and Christian Slater. In 2016, she appeared in Don’t Think Twice and was cast in the 2017 Netflix series Glow. Also in 2017.
