According to Radar Online, Tayshia is a divorcee. Her ex-husband Joshua Bourelle filed for divorce from her on October 11, 2017, after only one year and six months of marriage. He cited irreconcilable differences according to a court paper obtained from the Superior Court of Orange County in California. The Court completed the divorce on 17 April 2018. According to the divorce paper, Joshua requested spousal support be payable to Tayshia. However, in their marital settlement agreement, both parties waived the right for spousal support.
Joshua, however, will maintain coverage for Tayshia under the medical, hospital and dental insurance provided through his employment until the divorce becomes final. After the divorce, Tayshia shall get and maintain her own medical, hospital and dental insurance coverage. Tayshia made it to the final four on this season of the show, 23rd season and will take Colton Underwood to her hometown and so will contestants Hannah Godwin, Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Cassie Randolph.
Tayshia opened about her divorce to Colton where she said that she got divorced before The Bachelor and was nervous to open up about it. She told Colton that she had married her first boyfriend but after six-year relationship things fell apart. She said she kept working on the relationship because her marriage is forever but still, it fell apart.
Colton also opened to her about his parent’s divorce and told Tayshia that he was proud that she made a choice that was best for her and her happiness.
